I have always loved cooking but one thing that I hated the most was trying to open up cans with my can opener. It seemed that it never worked and I would end up hurting my hands. My husband new about my frustration and decided to get me the one touch can opener. I had never heard of it and was very surprised when I got home and saw my gift.

The can opener is automatic meaning that you can open it with just one hand and I loved that. It was very quick, and simple. I started using the can opener every time I had to open up a can. At one point it got jammed because the battery level on it was low. What I did to open it up and release the can was I hit the reverse button. Once I hit that the can opener stopped. If this happens to you while using this you'll find that the activate button is a small button and it is at the rear. You must first press the activate button so that it can reverse it. After it comes to a stop the can opener will be released. At first when this happened to me I freaked out but after I replaced the batteries I pressed the reverse button again and the can opener started to reset then it went right back to the start position and worked like a charm.

Needless to say, I don't know how I ever lived without one because it has been very useful and now we buy it as gift items for our friends because we know it'll be something that'll help them out.
